TO DO
Explore Mykonos town - even more charming in real life than it seems in photos. You could spend hours wandering down tiny alleyways, browsing the hip boutiques, and people-watching with a Greek coffee in hand at one of the many local cafés. (If ever in a rush to exit the town, insert “Fabrika”, or “Remezzo” in google maps and it will lead you to the exit. Fabrika will lead you to the busier exit, where the bus station is. Remezzo will lead you to the old port, where the public/.free parking lot is.)
Check out the Windmills - a Mykonos landmark. You’ll find seven of them in Chora (Mykonos town) – they were built by the Venetians in the 16th century and were originally used to mill wheat.
Wander around Little Venice - a quaint area on the waterfront filled with bars, restaurants, and cafés. While it’s quiet in the morning, afternoons and evenings get particularly busy!
Day trip to Delos - Just a few kilometers off the southwest coast of Mykonos you’ll find Delos, an archaeological site that is, according to Greek mythology, the birthplace of Artemis and Apollo. You can reach the island via a 30 minute ferry ride from Mykonos Town/Chora (there are 4 boats daily with departures from 9am to 5pm).
